That looks like a Fixie. And this from you, who gave me a look after I mentioned wanting one!
Actually it has gears and brakes. I am secretly drawn to the fixie sub-culture, but I'm actually going a different route. I just bought a new fuji. I'm about 2 months away from spandex.
